“We are 22 local contemporary artists dedicated to creating an inspiring venue where we exhibit and sell our artwork as well as engage with community in meaningful ways around art and culture.
With rotating solo and group exhibitions mounted every three weeks in our Main Gallery, there is always something new and exciting to discover. 22 in '24
The Gage Gallery Arts Collective brings their annual group art showcase, featuring the work of all 22 members in 2024, or "22 IN '24". The main gallery will be filled with a variety of original 2D and 3D art, jewelry, prints, and art cards to suit your desires.
Gallery Hours: Tuesdays-Sundays, 11-5. There will always be a Gage artist to greet you!
Winter Wonders Art Show & Sale
Join participating artists Arden Rose, Barb DeRousie, Carol Bednarski, Claudia Malacrida, Jenny Miller, Judi MacLeod, Kari Frazer, Linda Anne Baker, Megan Hill, Melanie Spencer and Trenova Fine Arts, for Winter Wonders, an art show and sale on the weekend of November 9-10, 2024 from 10-4 each day at the Arts Calibre Academy on Arbutus Road.
Gifts & Wishes
We are excited to bring back Gifts and Wishes as a beautiful 6-week in-gallery exhibition and gift showcase! This juried art show will feature 2D and 3D artworks, as well as prints, art cards, and other small works. The gallery will be transformed into a beautiful holiday showcase where visitors will be able to browse at their leisure and find unique locally handcrafted treasures and works of art.
Art Showcase will run on Wednesdays to Saturdays from November 6th, 2024 through December 14th, 2024. Gallery Hours: Wednesday-Friday-10-3, Saturday-12-4.
ArtSea Studio Tour
You are invited on a journey through the vibrant studios scattered across the picturesque Saanich Peninsula. Delight in the opportunity to peruse recent works of art, immerse yourself in artist demonstrations, and gain insight into the inspirations behind each creation. Discover the passion and dedication driving our participants to produce the art they love.
The ArtSea Studio Tour offers an unparalleled chance to explore and experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Saanich Peninsula. Join us for a memorable excursion filled with creativity, inspiration, and exploration.
In Sight Festival
In Sight Festival aims to create an event that provides an opportunity for families and individuals to experience arts and culture activities through personal engagement. This festival will showcase some of our local artists and cultural practices by presenting and connecting artists with the public. This Festival will provide a mosaic of presentations, including music, dance, children’s arts activities, art show, plein air painters, storytelling, and food.
Scattered Artists Fall Art Tour
Scattered Artists
Scattered Artists is a well-established Saanich art tour which has been occurring for approximately 30 years. This self-guided art tour occurs at multiple neighbourhood locations in East Saanich between the Cedar Hill Golf Course and Broadmead. The tours occur at the end of May and end of August each year.
Connect with local artists as they exhibit their work in a variety of media, including oil, watercolour, acrylic, mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, handmade knives, and more. Come and peek into the gardens and studios of local artists! Admission is free! Maps posted on FB, IG & website. I will be at the home of wonderful artist and friend, Carol Bednarski (see map).

Arts & Music in the Gardens
The Horticulture Centre of the Pacific presents Arts & Music in the Gardens, taking place at 505 Quayle Road on August 10, 2024 from 10am-4pm. A family-friendly festival, Arts & Music in the Garden aims to connect our community with local artists and local plants – come join us for a weekend of art, live music, food trucks, and more! Community Art Show
Community Art Show at the new Arts & Culture Colwood Society’s Centre features local artists paintings and 3D artwork from July 10 - August 3, 2024. Hours of operation at the Centre are 10am - 3pm Wednesday to Friday, and 12 - 4pm on Saturdays for the duration of the show. More details to follow.
Canada Day Celebration
Hosted by MACCA, “Festivas” is a Canada Day community celebration held at the Metchosin Arts & Culture Centre in the parking lot of the old Metchosin School. This is a free event and there is plenty of parking. This Maker’s Market runs from 11-4 with 40+ artisan vendors, kids art stations, live music and yummy food and drink.
We’ll be upstairs in the Metchosin Arts & Culture Centre, commonly known as the “DIY Classroom”, Celebrating Canada Day with an Art Show & Sale that runs from 10-3. Find paintings, pottery, art cards, claywork, felted furry friends, fibre art, driftwood art, jewelry and baked goods!
Featured artists include Alison Taylor, Barb DeRousie, baker Barbie Hudock, Gina Mar, Jill Duggan, Karen & Kelty Furey, Linda Anderson, Linda Byrne, Linda Simrose, Linda Slater and Sheryl Parsons.
This should be a fun Canada Day event for the whole family!

SPAC 2024 Spring Art Show
I couldn’t be more thrilled to be participating, for the first time, in this iconic annual event. The Saanich Peninsula Arts and Crafts Society (SPAC) is a non-profit organization celebrating its 71st Anniversary in 2024. One of its main roles is to promote member artists and their work. SPAC’s annual Spring Art Show, held at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney, is its premier event.

Bloom Art Show
I’m thrilled to be a small part of this annual exhibit at the beautiful Goldfinch Art Space in Colwood, it’s worth a visit.
The Bloom Art Show celebrates spring with a showcase of floral-themed artwork, from bold blooms to dainty blossoms and all the bouquets in between. Bloom is a very much-loved annual tradition for our many of the local Visual Artists including those from the previous Coast Collective and we are looking forward to hosting this free event for the artists and the public.

Goldfinch Art Space
Goldfinch Art Space will showcase our community artists from all over South Vancouver Island. These are our Visual Artists, members of our Society. This show will bring new emerging artists as well as seasoned visual artist to our new space on Goldfinch Road in Colwood. We are looking forward to hosting this free event for the artists and the public.

TD Art Gallery Paint-In
The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is excited to announce the 34th TD Art Gallery Paint-In on Saturday, July 15th, 2023!
The TD Art Gallery Paint-In is the largest summer arts festival on Vancouver Island, bringing together over 160 Vancouver Island artists to transform Moss Street into a living Art Gallery. This beloved festival draws 30,000 visitors annually to explore and experience art along Moss Street. It is also the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s (AGGV) largest fundraising event. What started as a small collective of artists displaying their art by the Gallery in 1987 has evolved into a community festival celebrating Vancouver Island art and artists.
All proceeds from the Paint-In go toward our family and youth programming, helping us to connect the community to art and artists.
4 Winds Art Show
A group art show featuring the work of artists Alison Taylor, Barb DeRousie, Elaine Hughes, and Linda Kirstein—”Four Winds”. Situated in Tulista Park in “Sidney by the Sea”, ArtSea is great little gallery to stop into while on a relaxing stroll along the waterway. Opening reception will be on Saturday, June 3rd from 2-4 pm with complimentary beverage and treats. One of the participating artists will be present throughout the show and we will be announcing FREE DEMOS!
Scattered Artists Spring Art Tour
The Scattered Artists Group will be participating in the annual Spring Arts Tour, sponsored by Saanich.ca, where 30 artists will show their works at eight locations in Saanich.
