The warmth of the setting sun behind the land mass provides a moment of reflection, both from a felt sense as well as literally, as the clouds are reflected in the water. Price: $400

If you’re from Alberta, you probably recognize this mountain scene. This is my interpretation of The Three Sisters, a distinct mountain range in Canmore, Alberta. I actually did use a few stock references just to get the shapes, then I was able to let loose and make it mine. Having just recently moved to Alberta, I may be painting more mountains, oh, and the prairie skies!
