“Meet You at the Moon” Series
Mixed media on 24” x 12” x 1/4” floating birch wood panels.
Square wood molding is adhered to the back of the 1/4” panel at top and bottom so it “floats” away from the wall for a contemporary look. Edges and backs are painted black then sealed with archival varnish. $350 each.

At one point I thought this painting was done, but as my art has progressed, I realized that it wasn’t, and here I begin the process of “reincarnation”. Alas, “Illumination” was born!

This piece, along with it’s sister painting, “Warm Embrace” (below), was accepted to the Sooke Fine Arts Show 2022. Using a limited palette, I built up the surface with various collage papers of marine charts, Korean text on paper, and other papers. I added paint in various ways (brush, roller, trowel) then overlaid the surface with this contrasting design.
